Doda Police organizes Kho-Kho Championship | KNO

DODA,MAR 23 (KNO) : With an aim to inculcate the spirit of sportsmanship and constructively engage the girls of the area to work towards peace and tranquility in the area and also to tap their raw talent, today on 23-03-2018, Doda Police under the directions of SSP Doda, Mohammad Shabir organized a Kho Kho tournament at Govt Girls Hr. Sec.

School Bhaderwah under CAP.This tournament was inaugurated by SDPO Bhadarwah, Brijesh Sharma, IC Principal Girls HSS Bhaderwah Dr. Nazir Ahmed SHO Bhadarwah Muneer Ahmed. In this tournament total 03 teams participated. The final match of the tournament was played between the teams of Girls A and Girls B of said school which was won by Girls A. On this occasion Addl. SP Bhadarwah Rajinder Singh was the chief guest.It is to be mentioned that this tournament was organized by the Doda Police with an aim of encouraging peace and harmony in the region. While speaking on the occasion, Addl.SP Bhadarwah said,

"Our aim is to provide a platform to the talented girls to let them locate their hidden skills and utilize their capabilities at the professional level, and Police under CAP is always there to provide them all the help by giving them a platform to perform." Later, prize distribution function was held in which trophies and medals were presented to winner and runners-up teams by the chief guest.(KNO)
